Who We Are
Beacon of Hope Addiction Center is a referral and placement resource for inpatient addiction treatment in Los Angeles. We are not a licensed treatment facility, detox center, or healthcare provider. When you call, you speak with a placement advisor — not a clinician. The advisor verifies your PPO insurance benefits, understands your clinical situation and preferences, and connects you with a licensed inpatient program in LA or Southern California that matches on all three.
What Placement Advisors Actually Do
A placement advisor is not a salesperson. Their job is to listen, verify, and match. The conversation typically lasts 20–30 minutes. You explain what's going on; they ask clarifying questions; they pull your insurance benefits in real time; they walk you through which licensed programs fit your clinical picture, insurance network, and location preference. If inpatient is not the right level of care, they will say so. If we don't work with a program that fits, they will refer you elsewhere. There is no cost to the call, no pressure, and no obligation.
Why Families Call Us Before a Program Directly
Calling a single treatment center first often means accepting that center's judgment of what you need. Calling a placement resource means having an advocate who is not tied to any one program — someone whose job is to find the right fit rather than fill their own beds. Beacon of Hope works with multiple licensed inpatient programs across LA County, which means the placement recommendation is based on clinical need, not bed availability at one facility.
